We are pleased to introduce our company KAPADIA TRAVELS PVT. LTD.
We offer our services for International & Domestic travel and tours for Groups & Individuals. We are specialists with over two decades of experience in ticketing and handling of Shipping and Offshore personnel to and from India. Kapadia Travels is an IATA accredited travel service company and are also active members of Travel Agents Federation on India (TAFI), Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) & UFTAA. This is our 28th successful year of operations in the field.
Established in 1981 by Mr.Vallabhdas `Vali’ Kapadia and Mr. Sanjeeva B. Shetty, Kapadia Travels has been active in the forefront of the travel business in India. International and local air ticketing is our core business and we are currently holding ticket stocks of all International and Domestic carriers operating in and out of India. We are also holding ticketing agreements with India’s new emerging Low Cost Carriers (LCC’s). Our domestic travel division offers a range of holiday destinations around India.
Kapadia Travels is connected using Amadeus – one of the world’s most powerful Global Distribution Systems connected online to all major airlines, hotel chains and car rental companies. We are also using the Abacus GDS system.
We have exclusive Marine Fares agreements with KLM-Northwest, British Airways, Air France, Swiss, Austrian, Alitalia, Ethiopian Airlines, Emirates, Qatar, Malaysia Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Thai Airways, Jet Airways, Air India, United, Delta, South African, Kenya Airways, Qantas, Lufthansa, Gulf Air and others.
Currently with a 22 strong team including directors, Kapadia Travels has emerged as a leading player in marine ticketing in the Mumbai market with a reputation for efficiency and personalized service that speaks for itself.
OUR FOUNDER
Late Vallabhdas J Kapadia (`Vali‘ to friends and all) started his career in before independence in AIR SERVICES of INDIA – a privately run airline owned by SCINDIA Shipping which as to be nationalized after independence into Indian Airlines. He served the company successfully for 25 years retiring as Commercial Director.
In 1970 he was handpicked as Travel Manager at the newly formed company - Travel Corporation of India (TCI) which grew to be one of the largest travel service companies in India. After a successful six years at TCI it was time to spread his wings and start a business on his own. With a few colleagues and a group of investors he bought controlling interest a company called Travelera Pvt. Ltd., from the renowned Sarabhai family of Gujarat India, owners of the famous Calico Mills.
In 1980 along with his long standing colleague and partner Sanjeeva Shetty they formed Kapadia Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Sundeep V. Kapadia
Following his father’s footsteps after his graduation from college in 1985, Sundeep Kapadia chose a carrier in Travel. Having successfully completed a diploma course in Travel and Tourism Management from IITC, he has trained with Amadeus and completed a ticketing and fares course with Lufthansa. Sundeep has also attended a Customer Service programme conducted by Cathay Pacific Airways. His vast experience in GDS, ticketing and IATA matters have earned him fame and respect in the travel fraternity. Sundeep has been elected and is serving on the managing committee of the Western India Chapter of the Travel Agents Federation of India – TAFI.
